Twitter for iPad is now live in the App Store, Twitter announced in a tweet at midnight Eastern Time this morning, Sept. 2, 2010.

Danny Granger, a stellar forward for the Indiana Pacers and member of Team USA, apparently can’t wait for the FIBA World Championship tournament to end so he can leave Europe.
Granger tweeted after the team’s narrow victory over Brazil that Europeans do not wear deodorant. He also said it smells like “dead donkeys.”
Granger isn’t the only NBA player who has made twitter news recently. Denver Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony, who reportedly wants to leave Denver, had his twitter account hacked into on Saturday night.
